Hello, and welcome to my website. 
My name is Miles, and I’m a personal trainer, and strength & nutrition coach. I also teach Qigong, Taichi, and Meditation.

I’m the founder of Five Element Fitness which is a holistic online coaching platform & community designed to teach you the skills needed to get into the best shape of your life.

My qualifications and experience span across multiple fields, involving: type 2 diabetes, obesity, multiple sclerosis, prosthetic rehab, strength & conditioning for various sports: rugby, golf, horse riding, hockey, tennis, boxing. As well as being TPI (Titleist) trained to assess Pro golfers for muscle imbalances. But what I’m most known for, is weight loss, physique, and body transformation.

I’m based in Upminster, London and Essex, where I offer private 1-1 gym sessions and lead various Qigong classes and workshops. I’m also fully mobile for specific energy practices and strength training. As well with the Five Element online coaching platform, I can support your goals from any location, especially during those moments when procrastination, distraction, and temptation arise between your gym and PT sessions.

The person in the photo below on the left, was me in my former life when I used to have a full time job as a Sound Designer in Soho.

 Back then, I realised the difficulty of trying to out-exercise a poor diet. Despite training hard, frequent client lunches, dinners, and late-night indulgences had left me overweight and unhealthy. Determined to turn things around, I created a simple diet and exercise program for myself while maintaining my full-time job in London, and I lost over three stone in just over four months.

 I fell in love with strength training when I was 15, and it has always been my favourite hobby. After my own weight loss journey, I decided to quit my job and follow my passion; becoming a full-time trainer. Having faced my own challenges with weight loss and lifestyle habits, I empathise with the time constraints and pressures my clients experience when working toward their weight loss goals. But together we make it work!

This is Suzanne proving age is just a number. From doing no exercise to getting into the best shape of her life in her mid 50’s, and hitting some great strength and deadlift numbers, as well as running a half marathon.

Here is Daniel who joined the program during Covid and had a phenomenal transformation; he looks amazing and is in great shape now!



As well I work with other clients wanting to get into physique, bodybuilding and/or powerlifting.

Working on advanced nutrition principles and training protocols where the training is ramped up to isolate and target specific muscle groups.

As well as training for agility, speed, and acceleration.
